Title: Mother of Section One, Founder of all the Sections
Status: Deceased
Profile: Adrian is English in her mid 60's. She founded all of the Sections and is known as the mother of Section One. She started the Sections after an engagement in Korea, in the early fifties. There were several factions in the west who were frustrated by the failures of communism in Asia. They conspired to take down the Capitalistic Regimes they saw as impeding they're ideology. They targeted civilian populations in metropolitan areas, it was the aborted birth of modern terrorism. The CIA and others worked together to fight the calamity, it was this federation that gave Adrian the idea to start the Sections. She then was ousted in a coup staged by Operations and Madeline. We are first introduced to Adrian in Adrian's Garden where she recruits Nikita into retrieving the Gemstone File for her. Unfortunately, Nikita was really working for Operations to capture Adrian and destroy the people working with her. Section One then subjected Adrian to the Gelman process that brainwashes people into doing Section's bidding. It did not seem to work well for Adrian and so they froze her. Michael got Adrian out of Section One when he needed Adrian to help him get Nikita off the Gelman process. Even though at first it looked like Adrian did not suffer any effects of the Gelman process, she slowly began to lose her mind until Michael had to put her into supervised care in a home for her own health and safety. Then Operations and Madeline try to blackmail George by framing him to making it look like he gave the Key File to someone outside of Section. But George is able to blackmail them back since he knows that Operations has the Gemstone File. They are at a stand still until George tries to suck the knowledge out of all the top Operatives in Section One. He fails and gets his brain sucked instead. After he and Nikita are finished with their investigation of Section One, "Mr. Jones" has Nikita work for him at Center. During All The World's A Stage, Nikita convinces "Mr. Jones" that she needs Mick for a mission. While out on that mission, Nikita threatens Mick because she wants to know who her father is. Mick/"Mr. Jones" tells Nikita he is not "Mr. Jones". He is an actor named Martin Henderson who was hired nine years ago by Section. He was working for a rep company in Wales doing Shakespeare and some Shaw when someone came knocking on his door and gave him a steady job. He spent two years learning the world and the languages, the people, and the nuances. They first gave him the role of Mick Schtoppel. Then four years ago they gave him the role of Mr. Jones. Nikita went to see Martin/Mick/Mr. Jones the next day but he was gone. We assume he was cancelled.

He told her that he was her father and we assume that his other daughter is Michele. We are not sure what relationship he had with Nikita's mother, Roberta Wirth. But his relationship with Nikita has always been that of no interference no matter what happened to her. Operations seems to know Mr. Jones as he calls him Philip but Operations might not have known that Philip was Mr. Jones until then. Mr. Jones then tries to start a relationship with his daughter because he wants her to take over for him when he is done. But they only get to know each other a little because he sacrifices himself for Michael's son Adam in A Time For Every Purpose by getting himself shot by The Collective on a bridge after the exchange. We presume he is dead but if he was smart he would have just sent a double to take his spot. If was smart he would have never revealed himself to anyone at all since that puts him and all the Sections at great risk.
